How to Layer 3 switch integrated on GNS3

 Hello , Everybody, Iam Md. Kamrul Hasan  with you, Today I discuss  how to integrated layer 3 and layer 3 switch on GNS3

 >> Layer 3 swich : Layer 3 switch is working on Networking layer, router is also working on networking layer . Routing is the work of Router, which means it,s route date  one network to another network .Layer 3 switch is work  on layer 3 but the major part  is it can be  also work in layer 2.  So , this also call multipule switch.

• Almost the same process as layer 2,

• Go to > Edit > preference

• Select > IOS Router
• Click .> New

• Then  Select > New image
• Browse > select the IOS file of layer 3 switch
• Click  > Open
  
  
  
   
• Click > next

• Unmark > This is Ethernet switch router
• Write the name of Switch 
• Click > Next

• You can also change the Ram, I don't chang it (defaut)

• Slot 0 > select 16 port
• Slot 1 > none
• Click > Next

• Click > Idle pc- finder

• Then Click > OK > Finish

•  This the layer 3 switch 
• Click > Apply > Ok

• Now Go to GNS3 
• Right click on switch > start 
• Then > Console

•  vlan > Enter >
• sh vlan > Enter >lan database> Enter  > exit
• > sh vlan -switch > Enter

• Now showing the switch of Port and type of switch as like as.

So , This is the process of Layer 3 / Multipule switch intergrete on GNS3.
